Effective April of 2008 the state imposed a no smoking policy in all jails that hold state inmates. Since holding state inmates is our only means of income we had no choice but to go smoke free at the Allen County Detention Center. The Allen County Jailer nor the Allen County Fiscal Court did not inpose this ban and any questions should be directed to your State Representative.
