In order for your money to be on the books in time for the inmate to order commissary, money must be on the system by midnight Saturday mornings

To add phone time, call 1-877-998-5678
You can also come by the jail lobby 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and put money on either the Combined or Vend Engine kiosks
How do I find out about a court date?
Click on person (if currently incarcerated) and the next court date will show under their name. If the person is not incarcerated, contact the circuit court clerk office at 270-237-3561
How do I find out what my jail fees are?
You can contact the jail at 270-237-3226. Timely payment of these fees is appreciated. You can drop this off anytime Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Can I find out what an inmate’s charges are?
Yes, the charges will be listed under the inmate’s name once you click on it. State inmates will be listed as only state inmates. NOTE: we are not allowed to give out charges over the phone. Please refer to the website for this information

How do I schedule a visit?
Visits are allowed on Mondays and Saturdays. Female visits are 9:00AM-11:30AM, and male visits are 12:00PM-3:30PM
You must call the jail at 270-237-3226 to schedule the visit after 8 a.m. on the day of the requested visit

How do I send an inmate property?
Only unopened whites are allowed for an inmate. They must be brought to the jail in person only. No mail orders. We also do not allow thermals or sweats. These can be ordered on commissary
What classes/programs does your jail offer?
GED, Anger Management, Moral Recognition Therapy, New Directions, Parenting, Thinking for Good, Staying Quit, NAAA. We also support a variety of churches to come in and perform services during the week. These services are overseen by Hillus Pardue, Jail Chaplain
How old do I have to be to apply for a Deputy Jailer position?
You must be 21 years old, and basic computer skills are required
If I was incarcerated and want to get my book balance returned, what do I do?
You can come by in person Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

What is the process after someone is booked in?
Once the person is booked in, the citation and warrant(s) are sent to pre-trial. Pre-trial services have 24 hours to call the jail and conduct a phone interview with the inmate. Once the inmate has been interviewed by phone, a bond decision will be e-mailed to the jail. It will also be entered in the system under the inmate’s file (which can be viewed on the website)
What are the different types of bonds?
Surety Bond-Will have a bond amount, but no cash is required. A local Kentucky resident will have to sign the bond
Court Approved Surety- this is a bond where the Judge issues a bond where a person has to go to the courthouse and get approved to be the surety for someone
Cash Bond-Full amount of cash (cash only) on the bond is due before release. Bond or warrant may say post in defendant name only. If so, the inmate is the only one that the bond. If the bond doesn’t indicate this, then the person paying the bond needs to sign the bond
ROR Bond (Release on Recognizance)-no bond amount, and inmate can sign themselves out
Unsecured Bond-no bond amount listed on bond, and no cash is received. The inmate can sign themselves out
Secured Bond (also known as a 10% bond)- a bond where after the inmate sees the Judge, the Judge may decide to reduce the original bond amount by 10%. For example, an original $5,000 bond may be reduced to $500. However, this doesn’t happen in all cases
Bail Credit- Bond where one day in jail equals $100 (Example: inmate is given bond of $500 with bail credit. After serving five days, the inmate can be released). This does not mean all bonds fall under this, only bonds listed as such
AI Bond (Alcohol Intoxication) -Bond amount is $213.50. This amount can be paid at time of release, or a court date will be set up one month out
Alcohol Intoxication charges (AI’s)- signify that the inmate can be held for 8 hours or longer if need be
Public Intoxication (PI’s)-a bond must be received before inmate. The bond must be signed by someone with a valid ID or Kentucky license and no prior felonies
*All bonds are charged a $15.00 bond fee, along with other jail fees at time of release
